Married.
Children: One Son

Education:

1990 M. Sc. Faculty of Physics, University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
1994-1996 program TEMPUS specialization ‘Separate process and preserve of environment” at Faculty of Chemistry of University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
2003 Ph.D. degree, “Investigation on nonlinear dynamics of adapting populations”.

Professional experience:

1991 - Research fellow of the Institute of Solid State Physics at BAS, Bulgaria.
2005 - Research fellow I degree, ISSP – BAS, Bulgaria.

Projects:

ESF Action COST P10 – Physics of Risk

Scientific interests:

Solid state physics - mechanical, thermodynamic and magnetic properties of policrystal materials and thin films;

Physics of complex systems - theory of dynamical systems and its application to the ecological systems and interacting populations;

Nonlinear time series analysis and its application for extracting information from time series.
