Biography
SAVA SLAVCHEV MANOV
(1943 – 2005)


Born:

Sava Manov was born in Pleven.

Education:

    He studied physics at the Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Eastern Germany (1968)

and obtained Ph.D. (1968) and D.Sc. (2000)

Research:

    Sava Manov worked in theory of gravity, theory of relativity and diferential-geometry methodes.

    His scientific heritage is deviation equation.

    He was engage with scientific planning from 1984.

Teaching activities:

    He hold many theoretical physics cources.

Professional Experience:

    Sava Manov was physicist in the Institute of Physics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1969 – 1972).

    In 1974 he became researcher at the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nulcear Energy.

    He was member of the Scientific Board (1999 – 2005) and technical assistant

    Sava Manov was scientific officer of the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nulcear Energy (2000).

    He was deputy director of the Institute (2004 - 2005)

Publications:

    Sava Manov has 3 monographs

    He was author and co-author of more than 110 publications.
