ANGEL DAMJANOV BONOV
(14.03.1919 – †16.11.1985)

Born: in Kneja.
Education:
He studied in Orjahovo, graduated mathematics in the Sofia University and PhD in Astronomy
Research:
He determined 176 years solar activity cycle.
Professional experience:
A. Bonov assisted in astronomical laboratory (1946) at the Sofia University.
He was associate professor.
Teaching activities:
He lectured many courses and initiated new cours naimed "Physics af the Sun and Sun's activities" at the Universities in Sofia and Plovdiv
Awards:
He was decorated with medals "Kiril and Methodij, I rank and "1300 years Bulgaria"
