Research

More than 45 original papers are published in representative international Journals in the field of mechanical properties of solid state such as mechanical stress in film-substrate systems. The stress is used as a tool to characterize different materials, such as films of SiO2, a-Si:H, Al, Al2O3, Si3N4, dimond-like carbon, CuInxSey, chalcogenides, and the kinetics of the process of their preparation.
Subjects of recent interest are superconductors and nano-size particles in respect to incorporation inside superconducting matrix, as well as different films structure characterising mode.
X-ray Diffraction, Transmission Electron Microscopy, X-ray Photo-electron Spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy, Thermo-Gravimetrick mesurements are carried out.
The results of research activities are presented at different International Conferences as invited papers and posters too.
