LYUBOMIR MILENOV MIHAILOV
Assistant Professor, PhD

CURRICULUM VITAE

Name: MIHAILOV (family) LYUBOMIR (given name) MILENOV (father's).
Born: April 09, 1963, Sofia.

Education:

Graduate Physics, Sofia University, Year 1989.
MS thesis "Optical spectra of superconducting materials" 1990.
PhD degree in Physics "Broken symmetry centers in high-temperature superconducting cuprates" 1996.

Key Words:

High-superconductivity, polarons, optical spectra, information technologies, transport logistics.

Field of research activity:

- Theoretical studies on vibronic effects in high-Tc superconductors.
The basic theoretical concepts of local and itinerant vibronic polarons in crystals are revised. The study of vibronic polarons is undertaken in view of their presumed role in high-temperature superconductivity and colossal magnetoresistance.

- Dynamic Traction Force Integrator (DTFI)
An original algorithm for fast route creation and modification is elaborated. The DTFI gives the opportunity to calculate the shortest route through given number of points. An optimization program for traction force characteristics description is developed.

Projects:

Transport problem - optimal distribution of engines 2004 – 2007
Traction Force Calculations, 2001 – 2003
Bulgarian State Railways.
